AMICRA Microtechnologies GmbH
AMICRA Microtechnologies GmbH was founded in Regensburg in 2011 and specializes, in particular, in developing and manufacturing high-precision automatic assembly machines for the industrial production of microelectronic components. These are mainly used in the manufacture of microchips and processors, such as occur, for example, in smartphones or tablet computers. The automatic assembly machines developed in-house by the company’s employees satisfy the highest requirements in terms of quality and precision, a value-added that customers like Osram Opto Semiconductors, Infineon and Foxconn have also come to appreciate. By recently switching from individual production to serial production, the company intends to take advantage of additional economies of scale to drive its development further forward. This objective will be supported by continuing growth in the area of mobile terminals and constantly increasing efficiency and miniaturization of technological products.

In view of this market development, the resulting demand for high-precision technologies and the manageable competitive environment in the segment, AMICRA is convinced that it will also be able to continue its past successful course of expansion in the future - an objective in respect of which Co-Investor has been supporting the young company with fresh equity since April 2013.
